FIITJEE’s AITS are famous all over India for its level of difficulty. The level of Mains paper is comparatively similar to the JEE Advanced level. While the ADVANCED level is way tougher than JEE Advanced. In the Mains level the highest score lies between say 120–130 out of 180, while in Advanced level the scores are generally 25–30% of the total marks.
Overall I would say that, you can give Mains level to practice for JEE Adv.
Fiitjee Aits r very tough but good .If u choose this then it is good for u . but remember if u do not score very well in these tests then please don't be dishearten as they r really tough. 30–50% marks can be considered good.
After writing few tests you would feel that there's no point in attempting these tests and most of the students stop writing aits after 2 or 3 exams, but let me tell you one thing that everything has it's own advantages and disadvantages and we should seek the advantages in everything we does.
Advantages
- Around 20 % questions will be out of jee syllabus. Attempting such tests will help you to better your skill in leaving questions which would be out of your field of knowledge. Most of the people in the advance exam will panic when they won't be able to solve questions in the main exam
- The level of questions is difficult and each question is a mixture of concepts from different chapters. This helps you tackle such questions when asked in the advance exam
- With this level of difficulty, its almost not possible to answer all the questions in the given time, so time management comes into play here. Managing your time is one of the skills that's highly required in the advance exam.
FIITJEE AITS papers are generally much tougher than IITJEE. Unlike JEE, where you can look at some of the questions and answer them in a split second, there will not be any such questions in AITS. Your AITS score will be much lower than your JEE score in all circumstances.
The thing AITS does is it reduces your fear for tough questions, for which you need to work your arse off. There will be a few questions of this type in your JEE. And this gives JEE this reputation of a very tough paper.
So when you write the JEE, it appears much easier than how it would appear without writing AITS, because you have seen tougher papers.
AS PER AMAN GOEL
" FIITJEE test series is extremely hard - way above JEE level and at times it is demotivating. For those who are aiming for a high rank may however choose to opt for FIITJEE because almost all top (50) rankers join FIITJEE AITS and so, appearing for FIITJEE AITS will help you evaluate your national standing better.
A strategy that I liked about FIITJEE was the way they took part tests. Before starting the actual test series, FIITJEE divided JEE syllabus into 3 parts. Then they held 3 part tests from each part. There was a gap of 2 weeks between 2 part tests. These part tests greatly helped me to completely revise the JEE syllabus in about a month. Moreover, I was able to learn a lot during these part tests. I realized that there are certain concepts at which I need a better command and so, I solved more problems from those concepts and discussed them with my teachers. I believe that it was this 1 month of preparation that really took me from a top 100 rank to a top 50 rank in JEE."
Great Job Man!
